Legacy Founder
In Loving Memory
Vera Crayton Gordon
About the Legacy Founder
V’s Heart is more than just a name. It is a tribute to the legacy of V’s grandmother, who inspired her to pursue her passion for generosity and concern for others.
V’s grandmother was a compassionate and generous woman, who always helped those in need or simply shared her gift of love and hope. Affectionately known as the Avon lady in the community she was a beacon of hope and light for many.
Short in statue but characterized by her loving, caring and giving spirit. She never passed up an opportunity to share with someone, give to someone, care for someone, or extend her heart of unconditional love with someone. Vera was a leader and a visionary. She constantly looked for opportunities for children, youth, and adults that educated, challenged, and encouraged their development. Vera's hearts desire was to "GIVE" to others in any way she could and with any resources that she had.
